Hey everyone!

Thanks again for all the messages.

Just when I thought things were getting better (and they are health-wise), Freedom First Fraud Dept called me New Year's morning and told me that some on-line hacker had accessed my Debit Card to the tune of $1,300!! So yesterday we had to go to the local branch here and file a Fraud Report, THEN I had to ride to Blacksburg to file a Police Report. I was dog-dead tired by the time we got home and I went straight to bed!

John's ex-wife died this morning, so my longest best friend Ann Rhudy has offered to have me come stay with her for several days. What a blessing to have her in my life. Betty Lee is going to Blacksburg this afternoon so I will ride with her up there.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. I love you all!

So sorry for all the bank issues...how in the world does someone access debit card on line...hope they catch them and stick it to them...stuff like that isn't easy to deal with even when you are feeling ok. So sorry about John's loss also. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers....you are such a brave soul and I am really rootin' for you to get back with us, bet you are too ... Linda V.

Hey "Mom",
Just wanted to say hey and that I'm glad to hear you are making progress. I'm also happy that you have this blog so that it's easier to keep in touch an up to date.
How 'bout them Hokies in the Orange Bowl! I'm thinking big things are coming for next season. You have to hurry up and get better so that you and me can take a bowl trip next year. I guess John and Andria can come too.
Best of luck with everything.

Your "son",
Benton

Dear Beth,
It may be no comfort, but I know three others who have had their bank accounts cleaned out because they had debit cards. The evil ones who did this have incurred very bad kharma! Let' hope the cops get them. I'm sorry to hear about John's loss. He has been sorely tested lately. He and you are in my prayers. Love, Sue

Hi Beth! What an exciting (stressful) life you are living these days. Sorry about the ID theft situation. We have had that, too. It is mainly one BIG pain! All the paperwork!
Glad you are staying up beat and out of the hospital at this point! You and Meredith were in the hospital at the same time. She delivered her baby Jack on Christmas Eve.They are doing fine!
Consider this a big hug! :)
